Energy as Infrastructure. Energy as Equity. Energy as Culture.
Clean energy is not only a technology—it is a symbolic right. At ICRS, we work to embed energy systems into civic life as visible, equitable, and narratively meaningful infrastructures.
Section 1: ICRS Energy Approach
We approach energy not merely as supply or technology, but as a civic interface—a structuring force embedded in identity, access, and governance.
From climate-vulnerable communities to heritage cities, ICRS builds visibility for clean energy systems through cultural integration, symbolic planning, and multilateral frameworks.
Section 2: Pilot Projects and Models
Clean Energy × Civic Infrastructure Model
Integrating clean energy systems into the design of civic infrastructures—such as public spaces, cultural buildings, and educational environments—not merely as utilities, but as visible, symbolic, and participatory elements of urban life.
Harbin Energy Demonstration Hub
In collaboration with local clean energy enterprises, ICRS is developing a multi-functional demonstration site in Harbin, China—one of the world’s most climatically extreme cities.
The hub will integrate energy storage systems, curated cultural modules, and transnational storytelling tools, serving as a model for how clean energy infrastructure can operate under harsh environmental conditions while fostering visibility, civic trust, and cross-border engagement.
Women in Energy Transition
This initiative promotes the structural transformation of women’s roles in energy systems—from passive consumers to active designers, negotiators, and institutional actors.
It seeks to embed gender inclusion at the infrastructural level, not as policy add-on, but as part of the systemic design logic.
Section 3: Systems We Support
Off-grid and decentralized clean energy solutions
Energy justice frameworks for underserved regions
Cross-sector clean energy education and narrative models
Culture-anchored public energy demonstration sites
Section 4: Why SDG 7 Is Structural to ICRS
Clean energy is not a product we provide. It is a basic right we defend, a structure we institutionalize, and a narrative we reframe.
